DAY.01 ARRIVAL YANGON

Upon arrival at Yangon international airport, you will be welcomed by our Tour guide and transferred to your hotel. Your journey begins with an afternoon tour through Yangon’s colonial - style city center. Visit Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years ago, enjoy “High Tea” at the Stand Hotel built in 1896, once described as the "leading hotel of the East" and proceed to Botataung Pagoda, where sacred hair relic of Lord Buddha is enshrined in it. And visit the magnificent reclining Buddha Chauk Htat Kyi. Complete your first day in Myanmar with a visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the Shwedagon Pagoda.

DAY.02 YANGON  -  BAGAN (BY MORNING FLIGHT) 

After Breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Bagan. Upon arrival at Bagan, a stroll through the colorful local market and full day sightseeing tour of Bagan with a diverse selection of the most important pagodas and temples, such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; the Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes; Anada Temple, an architectural masterpieces resembling of a Greek cross and Anada Okkyaung, a brick monastery with 18th Century mural paintings. In the afternoon, visit one of Myanmar’s and Bagan’s most famous lacquer ware workshops, and see craftsmen, in Myinkaba village. You will continue to Manuha Temple, built in Mon style in 1059; Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument and according to legends a former palace site of King Manuha. Next you will explore the UNESCO protected Myingaba Gu Byauk Gyi Temple, a temple known for its mural paintings. Complete the day by watching sunset over the majestic Ayeyarwaddy River from a temple top.

DAY.03 BAGAN  - MINDAT (BY JEEP)

After Breakfast, take the boat across Ayeyawaddy River, and drive from Pakkuku to Kyaukhtu, then continue to Mintat, passing through tropical low land scarf forest and eventually alpine altitude of Mindat at 4860 ft above sea. Mindat is the administrative town for southern Chin State.

DAY.04 MINDAT  - AYE SAKAN (BY JEEP)

 After Breakfast, we shall walk in town before board on our jeep for further drive down to Che Chaung (approx 30 minute). From here you can see Aye Sakan situated over 1800 meters above sea level sometimes covers with Rhododendron flowers, and pine trees. We stop jeeps and start trekking to Chin settlement villages (approx 3 hour walk up hill) through the farm land observing everyday life of this remote tribe. Chin tribe women wearing various pattern of tattoo on their face and attractive amber necklaces, houses decorated with animal skull and sacrificial posts which is the symbol of wealth and success. We have pack lunch at one of the villages and continue trek through the valley and uphill passing through farm land (approx 2 hour) to get to motor way where our awaits jeeps will meet us and take us to our destination Aye Sakan.

DAY.05 AYE SAKAN  -  MT.VICTORIA  -  KANPETLET

After Breakfast, start the trip to 10 miles camp where we can get by jeep car and climb up Mount Victoria. Within the 3 hour - trekking to the top of the mountain, 3180 meter above sea level from the base camp, the first 45 minutes will give us a new experience of the steep and difficult portion of the path. All exhaust, however, will go away by the time of seeing the panoramic view from the summit. After a sufficient rest at the apex, come back to our jeep and it takes for about 2 hours.

DAY.06 KANPETLET SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast, visit several Chin minority villages near Kanpetlet. Meet the local people and learn about their customs, traditions and heritage as well as of their different style facial tattoos. Many of the Chin minority villages can be conveniently reached with a short drive and walk from our lodge. The Chin people consist of several tribes namely: Asho, Cho, Khumi, Kuki, Laimi, Lushai and Zomi. Some of these minority groups can be found in Kanpetlet area. After tribal encounters visit European Union funded rural project office in the heart of Kanpetlet and a local monastery and school.

DAY.07 KANPETLET  -  BAGAN (BY JEEP)

After Breakfast, drive back to Bagan including a short rest in Saw Village as well as the incident of driving in the pine forest. Lunch at a small local restaurant in Kazunma Village, one of the big Myanmar villages in Magwe Division, has a new sort of taste along the connection between central and western Myanmar. Upon arrival at Bagan, transfer to your hotel.

DAY.08 BAGAN  -  YANGON (BY MORNING FLIGHT)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Scotts Market, a compound of hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems stores. Then proceed to the royal lake to take the photo, where you can see the restaurant in very unique shape of legendary bird called Karaweik which is believed to possess the mellifluous voice, actually this is the form of the barge used by the kings when they made the revering trip along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Enjoy the dinner at this restaurant with Culture show.

DAY.09 YANGON  -  SITTWE  -  MRAUK U (BY MORNING FLIGHT / BY BOAT)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Sittwe. Upon arrival, transfer to the jetty for Mrauk U by boat for the 70km (6 - 8 hour) journey upriver to the last royal capital of Rakhine. Enjoy fantastic sunset beauty of Kespanadi River from your boat. Upon your arrival at Mrauk U transfer to your hotel.

DAY.10 MRAUK U SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast, morning sightseeing includes Shittaung Temple mainly built of stone; Ratanabon Stupa and Htauk - kan - thein Temple, all built in Mrauk U period Gate; Let - se - kan and Thet - kya - man - aung Pagoda. Excursion to the Vesali, old capital of Rakhine, 10 km to the north. Sightseeing there and proceed to Kyauj - taw Town to visit famous Mahamuni Buddha Image. And then return back to Mrauk U.

DAY. 11 MRAUK U  -  CHIN VILLAGE -  MRAUK U (BY BOAT)

After Breakfast, start a scenic journey on a very bad and bumpy road (72 km  -  2 hour) to Chao May and Sunkoe, tattoo villages of the Laytoo Chin minority, best known for their colorful fabrics and tattooed faces. This centuries old tradition is fading and new facial tattoos are not made any more in our modern times. In the afternoon explore a typical village of the Shakama (Thet) minority and take a look into the rural way of life.

DAY. 12 MRAUK U  -  SITTWE (BY BOAT)

After Breakfast, visit to the local market. Then, transfer to the jetty for the boat journey back to Sittwe. Upon arrival to Sittwe, transfer directly to the town’s old commercial area. Stroll along the Strand Road, lined with a fascinating variety of stores and enjoy sunset over the Bengal Bay from View Point Beach.

DAY. 13 SITTWE  -  YANGON (BY AFTERNOON FLIGHT)

After Breakfast, morning city tour of Sittwe, the capital of Rakhine State, featuring the colorful fish market and Sittwe Buddhist library and Rakhine cultural museum. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

DAY. 14 YANGON DEPARTURE (BY MORNING FLIGHT)

Breakfast at the hotel. At leisure until transfer to the airport for your international departure flight.

DAY.01 ARRIVAL MUSE

DAY.02 MUSE  -  LAISHO (BY CAR)

After Breakfast, drive (187 km, approx 5 hour) to Lashio, through enchanting landscape and ethnic villages. Arrival at Lashio, transfer to your hotel. For the energetic, possibility to visit a typical village of the Palaung ethnic minority. Drive to the outskirts of Lashio from where continue on foot about 4 km slight up - hill (1 hour walk per way) on an unpaved path to get to the Nam Kyan village. Evening walking around and visit with Lashio evening market.

DAY.03 LAISHO  -  PYIN OO LWIN (BY TRAIN)

After Breakfast, early morning transfer to railways station for your train journey to the main land. A leisurely train rides through mountains, valley, exciting tunnels and bridges get you to Pyin Oo Lwin (approx 10 hour). Train ride in this route can be very much entertainment as it stops every small station where people load and unload their farm products. You will experience the train also crawl slowly across the famous Gokteik Bridge. The 700m long bridge, built in 1900 by the American Pennsylvania Steel Co, spans across a nearly 300m deep abyss. In the evening, arrive to Pyin Oo Lwin, the former summer residence of the British colonial administration in colonial time. Then transfer to your hotel.

DAY.04 PYIN OO LWIN  -  MANDALAY (BY CAR)

After breakfast, take a stroll in the Botanical Garden created in the British Colonial time which used to be a part of Kew Gardens before. You will see some of the trees and flowers from your native land as well. Then take a Horse - drawn Coach to look around the Colonial Buildings at outskirts of the town. Visit the central market and the viewing deck on 10th floor from Nan Myint tower. In the late afternoon, drive back to Mandalay.

DAY.05 MANDALAY SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast, morning drive to Amarapura the “City of Immortals” and visit the 150 year old Mahagandayon monastery, and famous Buddhist learning center. It is home to a thousand monks, who will form a procession as they go to take their noon and final meal of the day. And visit the venerable Mahamuni Pagoda and Myanmar traditional handicraft workshops such as marble works, wood carving, gold leaf making and tapestry works. In the afternoon, visit the Golden Palace Monastery, a superb example of a traditional wood work, Atumashi Monastery, the "Incomparable Monastery", the Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world's Biggest Book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures and sunset on Mandalay Hill, a vantage - point for panoramic view of the city.

DAY.06 MANDALAY  -  KYAING TONG (BY AFTERNOON FLIGHT)

After Breakfast, transfer to airport for flight to Kyaing Tong, the native land of Akha, Lahu and Gon Shan hill tribes. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the evening, sightseeing in Kyaing Tong starts with Maha Myat Muni Pagoda, the most glorious temple of Kyaing Tong and near by a monastery where the monks learn "Khun" language, which is very similar to that used in the Northern Thailand.

DAY.07 KYAING TONG SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast, visit to twice - weekly water buffalo market with buyers and sellers trade their animals. Then drive to Pintauk area (approx 2 hours ) with a view to the plain rice fields looking like a huge green patchwork blanket. Visit Akha and Enn tribe villages. Some are baptized, some still animists. The Enn tribe lives on the higher slopes and possesses distinctively different costumes and beliefs from the other tribes particularly interest with their black teeth. Lunch break at Pin Tauk waterfall and in the evening, drive back to Kyaing Tong.

DAY.08 KYAING TONG SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast, drive to Loimwe (approx. 2 hours’) which means misty mountain locates over 1500m above sea level. It commands a magnificent view of the surrounding area and enjoys a temperate climate. It was an old colonial hill station and remains many colonial style houses and a catholic church. On the way up, stops at local villages such as Wan Lun Shan village, walk and explore the native village life, Holup Akha village, where you can see the traditional Akha tribes with their colorful dresses, and Pan Wai Lahu tribe villages on the left and right side of the road. In the evening, drive back to Kyaing Tong.

DAY.09 KYAING TONG  -  HEHO  -  INLE (BY AFTERNOON FLIGHT )

After Breakfast, morning visit to colorful local market frequented by hill tribes, they all come down from faraway mountains by taking a Long walk for buying and selling. Proceed to Shan Lacquer ware works and then visit the Lone Tree hill where a very tall tree is said to have been planted by the visiting Burmese king from Kon Baung Dynasty 200 years ago. Take a leisurely stroll around the charming Nong Tong Lake located amidst the town, where you can visit one of the local houses in the vicinity to experience their more modern way of life. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for flight to Heho. Upon arrival at Heho airport, proceed by road to Nyaung Shwe and continue by boat to your hotel.
Overnight in Inle Lake.

DAY.10 INLE SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast, take a boat excursion on Inle Lake (25 km) famous for its unique one - leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life and the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the most sacred shrines in Myanmar, dating back to the 18th century and visit Silversmith workshop in Ywama village. And continue to Nga Phe Chaung monastery, the biggest and oldest monastery around Inle. In the afternoon, visit the Inn Paw Khone village to see the silk weaving works and lotus weaving works. Then, visit to Blacksmith works and Boat - making workshop.

DAY.11 INLE  -  INDEIN  -  INLE

After Breakfast, visit the local market in the Inle Lake region (Remark: on market days only) where one can see several hill tribes selling and buying fresh vegetables and regional products. And proceed to the Western Shore of Inle Lake, where you will find the beginning of a stair path leading to the well hidden Indein Pagoda complex. In the evening, leisure at your hotel.

DAY.12 INLE  - KAKKU  -  PINDAYA (BY CAR)

After Breakfast, transfer to the Jetty and take the car ride from the Jetty to Kakku is located in the south of Taunggyi. It contains over 2,000 stupas with origins dating back many centuries. It’s exists not only as a testament to the religious devotion of one of Myanmar’s many minorities, which are historical evidences of the Pa.O hill tribes to prove their generosity. After visit, drive to Pindaya, a small peaceful town situated at the base of Shan Mountains and the end of very fertile plains.

DAY.13 PINDAYA  -  HEHO  -  YANGON (BY AFTERNOON FLIGHT)

After Breakfast, morning visit to Pindaya stalactite and stalagmite cave in which countless Buddha images of different types and time exist. Visit to observe traditional handmade paper and umbrella making workshops. In the afternoon, transfer to Heho airport for flight back to Yangon. On the way to Heho from Aung Ban is really picturesque and you can make many stops for photographing and introducing to the local farmers working in their fields cultivating a variety of crops such as Sesame, Cabbage, Coliflower, Mustard Oil, Wheat and so on besides the perennial orchards like Mandarin Oranges and Tea.
